The Poseidon Battleship has formed the backbone of CEGA’s fleets as they expand across the solar system. By far the largest vessel in CEGA’s fledgling fleet, it was designed to be more than a match for any opposing vessel. The Poseidon was also the first CEGA design to feature rotating crew habitats, a feature still unusual on Earth’s vessels. Even more unusual, its main weaponry of particle cannon turrets are placed at the ends of these habitats; this gives them an excellent field of fire. Forward-firing kinetic cannon and an assortment of missiles round out its weapon load-out.

While primarily a battleship, CEGA added two auxiliary craft bays mid-way through construction of the first Poseidon. This allows it to carry squadrons of Exos or fighters as a supplemental method of attack. While these days a Poseidon might expect to have a Birmingham-class Fleet Carrier close by, initially they were expected to be more self sufficient.

This pack includes one CEGA Poseidon-class model in 1/4000 Scale and its acrylic base. It includes all the resin and pewter parts to make a standard Poseidon-class ship.

You can include up to 2 Poseidon-class Battleships in your CEGA Fleet per 250 points of fleet size, at a cost of 96 points*.
